What I Feed My Fish, Cherry Shrimp, And Betta Fish!

What should you be feeding your fish?

There is a lot of information that gets tossed around and it can be confusing. I’ll be sharing with you what I feed my fish and why.

One thing that gets overlooked is Variety. Variety is the spice of life. Some choose not to, which is okay, but I like to mix it up.

As far as a feeding schedule, I feed my fish 6 days a week. I feed dry food every other day (3 days), and frozen food for the other 3 days.

My favorite frozen foods are bloodworms, brine shrimp, and a few various “mixes”.

My favorite food brand is are Omega One.

Be sure to look for quality ingredients. Stay away from ingredients like fish meal, wheat, and other fillers. they can cloud your water and make your tank dirtier, for a few dollars in savings.

Look for ingredients like Salmon, Halibut, Kelp, Spirulina, Kelp, etc listed as the first couple of ingredients.

Fish food also varies based on the type of your fish. Some fish are carnivores, omnivores, or herbivores. Knowing what their diet is is very important. Some feed of the bottom, some feed of the top, and everywhere in between.
